Have you ever heard the story “The lady of the lake”? No? Well you might not want to turn out the lights…or go camping ever again. So it was Spring Break of ’98 at a local high school. It was just a normal, camping trip with some friends. Well.. at least thats what they thought. it stated out as a normal campng trip. campfire, smores and, a ame of truth or dare. As it got dark outdide and every other tent was dark, al the high school kids decided to take a midnight swim. And yes I mean skinny dipping.
They got out after about an hour and realized their clothes had been stolen. They thought it was just a cruel joke and went back to the tent when they kept hearing moaning from the lake. And again the didn’t think anything of it and went to bed…… A wek later, every teen was reported misssing.when the police went to investigating, they found the tent in the woods. No bodies. And when the went back to the lake, they found their bloody clothes and bloody drag marks leading to the lake. So they broke out the scuba diving gear. They found nothing but algea. They did report hearing an aweful moaning voice screaming; “I’m the lady of the lake and I’ll get you too” over and over. All I can say is, I hope they find those kids. Happy camping;)
