Jody had just got back from a witch woman hypnotist’s act, and had now been dragged into babysitting her neighbour’s kids, and had finally got them both to sleep. She sunk down in the sofa and turned the TV on, and started flicking through the channels to find something of interest. After deciding there was nothing interesting on, she stood up and wandered over to the computer.
“I’ll check my e-mail…”
She muttered to herself, turning on the computer. After logging on, she noticed she had three new e-mails. She opened them one at a time. One was from her friend in Australia, one from her cousin in Hong Kong, but the final one was from an unknown contact. It said…
“A curse from me to you, at exactly midnight tonight, you will recieve signs. Pay attention of the warning; or you will pay with your life.”
Jody expected it to be just a stupid chain mail from her new friend, but could see no sign of it being from someone she knew. She fell asleep, wondering what could possibly be going on….
She woke up, trembling from the cold. She opened her eyes wearily, only to find she wasn’t in her neighbors comfy living room anymore. She was in the centre of an abandoned forest, surrounded by fog and mist. She stood up, suddenly hearing several twigs crack behind her, making Jody spin round hurriedly. The darkness surrounded nearly everything, but she could only just see about fifty pairs of gleaming gold eyes staring menacingly at her. She tried to scream, but it seemed like her lungs had frozen. She spun on her heel, and started to run from these unusual eyes. she could hear her pursuers closing the gap between them and her, and jody knew that it would only be a matter of time before they caught up. She felt one of her pursuers make a half crazed grasp for her ankle, digging its claws into her leg. She squealed in agony, but forced herself to run on. suddnely she ran straight into something; a huge wooden door. She pulled herself up and pulled at the handle. It swung open slowly, and she stepped inside, shaking. Jody slammed the door shut, leaving the monsters with gold eyes on the other side of the door.suddenly, she dared herself to look around where she was now stood. She found herself in a kind of bathroom, with a huge stone sink and bath against the walls. A white door on the opposite side of the room suddenly caught her eye. From one corner of the door, red liquid started to run up the side of the door, staining it scarlet. Jody crammed her fist into her mouth to stop herself screaming. Suddenly, the door handle twisted, and around the side of the door stepped a huge man, weilding a giant meat cleaver. Jody screamed and tried to run, but there was no where to go…
when the parents came home, they called the cops. They found Jody dead on the couch, with a meat cleaver through her chest. Through later investigation, it turned out the evil e-mail had been friom the witch woman, which were trigger words for Jody to collapse and start having a serious night terror.
