It was a typical Friday night for Jessica, watching a movie in the living room with her family, having fun, and just enjoying life. She had no idea what the night had in store for her.
She took a shower after the movie and got ready for sleep. She kissed her parents goodnight and got in bed. When she thought that everyone had gone to bed, she called her friend Ellie and told her to meet her at the store down the street from her neighborhood. Ellie agreed and hung up. Jessica calmly and quietly made her way to her window, cracking it open as smoothly as possible, trying not to wake anyone. She got out onto the small porch outside her window by the back door and crept along the outside of the house swiftly, cuz there was no light back there, and the street light had burned out.
